Hi, I'm Sara—
a Texas-based designer.
I think in systems and stories.
I currently work on the Brand & Design team at Q2 Software, creating work that spans brand systems, campaigns, experiential graphics, editorial concepts, print, and digital experiences. Whether designing for a physical environment, a brand, or the printed page, I'm interested in finding the story that brings a project to life.
I’m interested in connection.
The projects I enjoy most are the ones that ask people to do something—pause, explore, gather, learn, or see something differently. Whether it's a campaign, an event, or an editorial piece, I'm interested in creating work that gives people a reason to connect.
I’m inspired by observation.
Alongside my work as a designer, I maintain an active painting practice. My artwork explores themes of place, memory, and connection through layered color, abstraction, and intuitive mark-making. Working as both an artist and a designer allows me to move between strategic problem-solving and creative exploration, with each discipline strengthening the other.
Whether I'm traveling, photographing a landscape, reading a book, or collecting visual references from everyday life, I'm constantly looking for new ways to see. Those experiences continue to inform how I approach color, storytelling, and visual communication across all of my work.
